
Vice Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Mishaal Al-Sulami, met with Hellenic Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis at the Council of Ministers headquarters in Athens during his official visit to the Hellenic Republic.
Deputy Prime Minister Hatzidakis welcomed the Shura Council delegation, emphasizing Saudi Arabia’s vital role in regional and global stability and describing the Kingdom as a trusted strategic partner. He also highlighted the strong bilateral relationship, recalling the first Saudi-Hellenic Strategic Partnership Council held in AlUla on January 13, 2025.
Dr. Al-Sulami underscored the depth of the historical and strategic ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hellenic Republic, noting that both countries are marking the centenary of their diplomatic relations. He also affirmed that the meeting reflects the continued commitment to strengthening cooperation.
Finally, the discussions addressed a range of issues of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on enhancing parliamentary cooperation between the two sides.
