The Social Development Bank (SDB) has launched the Fintech Hub program, the first-of-its-kind program to empower future pioneers in financial technology, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Fintech Hub program represents a promising partnership with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Empretec program and a bilateral cooperation with the supporting partner “Fintech Saudi”.
Held from September 8 to 12 in Riyadh, the program aimed at promoting innovation in financial technology and support emerging projects and ambitious entrepreneurs through a comprehensive economic system.
The program stands as a testament to the SDB’s commitment to strengthening the financial technology system in the Kingdom through successful partnerships with various entities including “Fintech Saudi”.
Moreover, the bank provides a package of financial and non-financial services and awareness programs to spread the concept of saving for Saudi citizens.
The SDB also provides capacity building programs and workshops for entrepreneurs and owners of small and emerging enterprises, to empower all target groups in their development and social activities.
Most of these programs further improve production efficiency, maximize economic participation, and unleash broader horizons to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development empowerment and a vibrant and productive society.
