Saudia Boosts Red Sea Travel during Eid Al-Fitr with 20 New Flights

Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has announced 20 additional flights connecting Riyadh, Jeddah, and the Red Sea Destination during Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

With this addition, the total number of flights in both directions increases to 44, Saudia said in a press release carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

In collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) and the Red Sea Global (RSG), this addition is part of a partnership that aims to promote premier tourist destinations, such as the Red Sea Destination.

The partnership also aims to develop the tourism sector in Saudi Arabia and strengthen its position as a key pillar of economic diversification.

This long-term partnership between Saudia and STA is distinguished by an integrated performance designed to boost tourism growth by providing optimized flight schedules and seat availability.

Moreover, it features a unique onboard experience that showcases Saudi Arabia’s cultural identity. This cooperation also advances the national objective of attracting 150 million tourists by 2030.

Saudi Arabia is expecting Eid Al-Fitr on March 20, marking the end of the blessed month of Ramadan. The private and non-profit sectors will enjoy a four-day holiday to celebrate the occasion.

Saudia and the STA have combined their expertise to drive a wide-reaching strategy that bolsters air connectivity and increases flight capacity to meet rising demand.

All flights to and from the Red Sea during Eid Al-Fitr holiday will enjoy “Saudia’s integrated guest experience, including advanced AI-powered digital services for personalized travel planning, streamlined airport procedures, and an onboard experience reflecting Saudi hospitality alongside a wide range of entertainment for guests of all ages,” the press release said.
