Saudi-Turkish Business Forum to Kick Off Monday
The Saudi-Turkish Business Forum, organized by the Riyadh Chamber, is set to kick off on Monday, March 4, 2024, reported Mubasher. The Saudi Minister of Commerce Majid Al Qasabi, and the Turkish Minister of Commerce Omar Bulat will participate in the forum along with more than 200 Turkish companies.
Importance of Saudi-Turkish Business Forum
According to the Saudi Press Agency “SPA”, the forum aims to strengthen trade relations and establish numerous joint investment projects.
Moreover, the forum presents a significant economic opportunity to increase the volume of Saudi-Turkish trade. It exceeded 26 billion Riyals in 2023, by establishing economic and investment partnerships between Saudi and Turkish companies.
Participants in Forum
Turkish companies specializing in construction and contracting, building materials, automobiles and spare parts, textiles, food, furniture, energy, and other sectors will participate in the forum. On the sidelines of the forum, a number of Turkish and Saudi companies will sign agreements.
The organization of the forum continues the efforts of trade and economic cooperation between the business sectors of the two countries that were initiated during the Saudi-Turkish Business Forum held in Istanbul in October 2023, with the participation of more than 700 Saudi and Turkish companies.
The event will also feature an exhibition of Turkish products, alongside bilateral meetings for Turkish companies with businessmen and businesswomen.
