The Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) has announced the launch of the fourth edition of its Active Program, which will run in two phases from November 2025 through March 2026 across five cities in the Kingdom.
The program’s first phase kicked off in Al-Uqair, Al-Ahsa, as part of the Ramliyah Festival—the Kingdom’s first family-focused beach sports festival. The event attracted more than 12,000 visitors and featured competitions involving over 50 amateur teams in beach volleyball, handball, and football, with total prize money exceeding SAR 200,000.
Designed to encourage an active and inclusive lifestyle, the Active Program focuses on beach sports for participants aged 6 to 18. It also offers entertainment zones, yoga and Zumba sessions, and dedicated initiatives to support people with disabilities.
Prince Khaled bin Al-Waleed bin Talal, President of the SFA, emphasized that the program is a cornerstone initiative for promoting physical activity among youth and aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a healthy and active society.
Finally, he added that the latest edition reflects the program’s continued expansion across the Kingdom, providing a wide range of sporting opportunities for communities nationwide.
