Saudi Program Lays Foundation Stone for Dar Al-Salam School in Aden
The Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen today laid the foundation stone for the project of constructing and equipping the Dar Al-Salam Model School in Aden Governorate, according to SABQ Online Newspaper.
The school will feature 12 classrooms, along with associated facilities such as administrative offices, chemistry and computer labs, and dual-purpose courts for basketball and volleyball.
Multiple Projects, Initiatives in Yemen
This project to establish and equip the Dar Al-Salam Model School in Aden Governorate is among 52 educational projects and initiatives across various Yemeni governorates. It also contains part of 229 developmental projects and initiatives throughout Yemen.

The establishment of the Dar Al-Salam Model School in Aden is a response to the urgent need for education, meeting students’ thirst for knowledge, and providing new educational opportunities in a stimulating, well-equipped, and safe learning environment to harness their potential and abilities.

Initially, these include distribution of over 500,000 schoolbooks, setting up 31 model schools, providing nearly 13,000 pieces of school furniture, launching safe school transport with buses, expanding universities, and empowering youth.
