The Saudi Royal Saudi Navy concluded its participation in the 23rd IMX CE International Mixed International Maritime Exercise.
The forces conducted this exercise in several regions, including the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea.
The Saudi Royal Naval Forces aim of enhancing maritime security.
The exercise is considered one of the largest mixed naval exercises in the world.
Its current edition features the participation of 7,000 participants from more than 50 countries and regional and international organizations.
Also, 30 artificial intelligence systems, unmanned systems, and 35 naval vessels are participating in the exercise.
The exercise included several marine scenarios in operations in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The exercise locations also included the northern Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean, the Gulf of Aden, and the Red Sea to enhance maritime security in the region.
Notably, the Royal Saudi Naval Forces led the mine warfare group in the exercise activities in Bahrain and Jordan.
