Saudi naval forces arrive in Karachi, Pakistan

Saudi naval forces landed in Pakistan on Saturday, where they would conduct military drills alongside Pakistani forces.

According to an Al-Arabiya journalist, Saudi naval ships would take part in naval drills with the Pakistani military.

Due to the strong ties between the two countries, the Kingdom’s land and naval forces have previously conducted military exercises with Pakistani forces.

The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, visited Islamabad last July and reiterated the existence of strong relations and ties with Pakistan dating back decades.

He also stressed at the time that work is continuing to develop the relationship with Islamabad.
