Saudi Arabia is gearing up for the 94th National Day celebrations on September 23, 2024.
The much-awaited national event features an array of events and festivities across the Kingdom regions, driving a boom in Saudi Arabia’s commercial activity.
Saudi National Day
The National Day marks the birth of the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On September 23, 1932, King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud announced the unification of Najd and Hejaz into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Each year, Saudis celebrate the National Day with parades, fireworks, folklore shows and entertainment events. The Saudi identity features heavily in the celebrations. Citizens wear their traditional outfits and cook the famous traditional dishes. They adorn the streets with Saudi flags, and light up the buildings in green.

Moreover, a number of luxury hotels and resorts have announced special packages to mark the Saudi National Day. Fairmont Riyadh Hotel is celebrating the 94th Saudi National Day with a 15% discount, promising a special celebration on September 23, 2024.
Other hotels have rolled out exclusive packages for the National Day. They include JW Marriott Hotel Riyadh, The Hotel Galleria Jeddah, Address Hotel Jabal Omar Makkah, and Bayan Tree AlUla, according to Time Out.
Shopping Discounts
Popular malls and shopping centers across the Kingdom roll out attractive sales and discounts ahead of the National Day. Many stores have already announced discounts on perfumes, cosmetics and skin and hair care products.
Last year, an array of brands offered exclusive deals and promotions in celebration of the national event.
