It boasts stunning and unique natural beauty, which complements the attractions found throughout the entire region. This has made it a sought-after destination for visitors who wish to enjoy the beauty of nature, its picturesque views, unique forests, pleasant climate, and the flowing waters in its valleys.
During the past weeks, the governorate witnessed rainfall ranging from moderate to heavy, making it appear before the eyes of its visitors in a green suit, covering its forests, plains and mountains, along with vivid scenes of fog.
New Projects
The governorate, like others in the region, is undergoing development projects to meet citizen needs and align with Saudi Vision 2030. There is also a strong focus on the tourism sector. Additionally, it is driving development by showcasing its unique features alongside those of other governorates.
Terraces are a key feature of Harub’s beauty. The area also boasts a rich heritage and popular games.
Tourist attractions in the Harub Governorate include Harub Valley, known for its year-round flowing fresh water, and several other valleys like Wadi Wasaa, Wadi Shahdan, Wadi Al-Jasha, Wadi Awal, and Wadi Hijan. Moreover, these valleys attract tourists for their beauty. Notable waterfalls include those in Wadi Shahdan and Wadi Awal. Other scenic sites are Khujra Site, Mount Manjad, Mount Al-Faqara, Mount Ni’mah, Al-Sahaleel Village, Al-Jawain, Al-Hayaj, Al-Bazikh, and Al-Faqir.
