Saudi Ministry of Education reveals that there is no need for a sponsor in the educational visa
Saudi Education Ministry revealed the most prominent features of the introduction of the educational visa, which was approved by the Council of Ministers. It aims to strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a leading educational and training destination.
The ministry explained, through its official account on “Twitter“, that there are several objectives for creating an educational visa; It includes attracting distinguished talents, raising the quality of the educational and training process, research outputs, and innovation.
The educational visa also aims to raise the level of classification and efficiency of Saudi educational institutions globally, in addition to increasing the Kingdom’s contribution to spreading the values of moderation and teaching the Arabic language.
The Ministry of Education indicated that the beneficiaries of the educational visa are: male and female researchers, male and female students at the university levels, and male and female trainees.
The ministry indicated that the educational visa has many advantages; the most prominent of these is facilitating the procedures for enrolling in studies in the Kingdom, not needing a sponsor, and the possibility of accompanying the family (husband/wife and children).
The Saudi Cabinet decided to introduce a long-term and short-term educational visa; Last Tuesday, for study and scientific research.
