Saudi Ministry of Culture issues additional scholarship decisions for 149 students

The Saudi Ministry of Culture revealed that it has issued additional scholarship decisions within the cultural scholarship program that it manages

The Ministry seeks to provide solid educational paths for Saudi talents in various artistic and cultural disciplines, and the most prestigious universities and international institutes.

The additional scholarship decisions included 149 Saudi male and female students, of whom 26% are male and 74% are female.

The culture indicated that the percentage of male and female undergraduate students who will begin their higher studies shortly reached 50%, while the percentage of master’s students reached 49% and Ph.D. students were 1%.

Their specializations are distributed among various creative fields and include literature, languages ​​and linguistics, design, visual arts, theatre, libraries, museums, music, archaeology, culinary arts, architecture, filmmaking, and fashion design.

Culture affirmed its keenness to ensure that the cultural scholarship program provides the best educational programs in the world for male and female students who are covered by scholarship decisions.

 Students will go to study at a list of the most important international institutes and universities specialized in the fields of culture and the arts, including Columbia University, the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, Queen Mary University of London, the Australian National University, and New York University.

The cultural scholarship program guarantees the qualification of local cadres capable of keeping pace with the project of promoting the local cultural sector.

The program continues to receive applications from those wishing to join it through its electronic platform https://engage.moc.gov.sa/scholarships.

Through the program, the Ministry provides support for the accepted students, including the program’s bearing of all costs of study, financial security, in addition to health care.
