The Saudi Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) has issued the 2024 school performance cards for the national NAIES tests. These results encompass all public, private, and international schools at the primary and intermediate levels. Schools, educational offices, and administrative divisions can access their results on the Tamayuz digital platform. Each entity has been provided with a performance card.
Participation and Test Execution
The NAFIS tests were conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Education from May 12 to 27, 2024. Over one million students from third and sixth grades in primary schools and third grade in intermediate schools participated. The tests were held in more than 18,000 schools across all regions and provinces of Saudi Arabia.
Accessing Digital Reports
The Tamayuz digital platform offers access to NAFIS performance cards and detailed school evaluation reports. These reports evaluate four key areas: school management, teaching and learning, learning outcomes, and the school environment.
Purpose and Impact of NAFIS Tests
The NAFIS tests assess student performance in mathematics, science, and reading. Managed by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, these tests serve as a national benchmark for school evaluation and accreditation. The results also encourage excellence and positive competition among schools, offices, and educational administrations.
Aligning with National Educational Goals
NAFIS test results provide decision-makers with reliable performance indicators. These indicators support corrective actions to enhance educational quality. The tests are also a vital metric within the Human Capability Development Program, a key component of Vision 2030.
A Multi-Year Assessment
The ETEC administered the first NAFIS tests to all primary and intermediate schools during the 2021/2022 academic year as a “preparation cycle.” The 2022/2023 academic year marked the first official cycle, establishing a baseline for future tests. The Education and Training Evaluation Commission remains committed to collaborating with national stakeholders to ensure educational quality and achieve the goals of Vision 2030.
