Saudi Energy Minister: Vision 2030 preserved our identity

The world-famous King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals recently permitted females to enroll in undergraduate courses, after being restricted to students opening up new opportunities to empower Saudi women in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.

Saudi Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, said the Kingdom is undergoing a large series of transformations, including Vision 2030, which encompasses all economic and social fields and “which we have begun to reap its fruits under effective leadership and initiative.”

This occurred during the university’s commemoration of the enrolment of the university’s first female undergraduate students.

After being confined to students, the world-renowned institution in the disciplines of engineering and petroleum recently permitted females to enroll in undergraduate studies in the current semester, opening up new possibilities in terms of empowering Saudi women in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
