Saudi-Egyptian FMs to Hold Joint Conference Meeting

Today in Cairo, a Saudi-Egyptian Meeting and a joint press conference will be held between Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry.

Topics of Discussion

This meeting will take place at Tahrir Palace, where both ministers will discuss strategic relationships on all fronts.

Moreover, the ministers will talk about the changes in the region, particularly about the Gaza Strip and the current upheaval the area is experiencing.

Additionally, they will tackle topics of mutual interest on a regional and global level.

Notably, this meeting is held amid several critical crises, including the war in Gaza. KSA and Egypt are closely monitoring the situation.

Both countries declared their condemnation of the aggression practiced by the Israeli Forces. The two ministers have called for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Farhan previously declared that Israel is violating the fundamental tenets of human rights. He also announced that KSA will not normalize the relationship with Israel unless an independent Palestinian state is established.

 

Previous Saudi- Egyptian Meeting between Both Ministers

Last year, in August, both ministers held a one-on-one meeting to discuss several topics of shared interest.

The agenda of the conference included updates on regional concerns. Additionally, it focused on strategies to improve cooperation and consultation between Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

The two ministers stressed that maintaining Arab national security requires unity and coordinated Arab action.

Moreover, the ministers affirmed the need for truly Arab solutions that empower the area’s people.

They emphasized that Arab cooperation would shape their future, fulfilling their dreams of stability, development, and prosperity.

 

Saudi Egyptian-Meeting Discussed Bilateral Relations

In the same meeting, Shoukry highlighted Egypt’s appreciation for the strong and friendly relations that formally and popularly unite them.

Upon concluding their conversation, the two ministers agreed on the significance of maintaining communication and cooperation to bolster Arab concerns.
