Riyadh’s Prince Crowns Winners of Two Prestigious Cups
Royal Reception at Equestrian Field
Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh, crowned the winners of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup and the Saudi Equestrian Cup. The crowning took place at the 96th racing season event in Riyadh.

Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field in Al Janadriyah, Prince Faisal received a warm welcome. He was greeted by Prince Mutaib bin Abdulaziz.
Additionally, Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, was present.
Moreover, Prince Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Equestrian Authority and Horse Racing Club, joined in welcoming him.
Royal Salute, Race Commencement
As the Prince of Riyadh reached the royal platform, the royal anthem was played. The seventh round of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for local production, first category, commenced over a distance of 1800 meters. Additionally, the prize was 1.5 million Riyals.
The horse “Ibn Tolun,” owned by Abdulrahman Al Makhdoob, secured the first place.
Eighth Round, Prize Distribution
Following this, the eighth round for the internationally classified Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, over a distance of 1800 meters, was held. After its conclusion, the Prince of Riyadh presented the cup to the owner of the winning horse, sons of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.
Finally, Prince Mutaib bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received the prize, with the winning horse “Power in Numbers” securing the prize of 1.5 million Riyals.
