Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense affirms the kingdom’s support for Iraq
Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman assured recently that Saudi Arabia always stand with Iraq, noting that it will do everything in its power to spare Iraq the danger of war and conflict.
Prince Khalid bin Salman added through twitter, “Every lover of Iraq today wants him to avoid disturbances and all what negatively affects its security and stability,”
The Saudi Deputy Defense Minister met US President Donald Trump last Monday at the White House.
Prince Khalid bin Salman said in a tweet on his account on “Twitter”, that he conveyed a message from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Trump.
Prince Khalid bin Salman also discussed with Trump the joint efforts to confront regional and international challenges, and coordination between Saudi Arabia and US.
Prince Khalid bin Salman also met, on Tuesday, the US Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper, and discussed with him the common challenges.
In turn, US President Donald Trump indicated, on Tuesday, that he had a very good meeting with Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman.
Trump also clarified that he discussed with the Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense the stability of the Middle East and oil prices.
