Saudi Defense Forces destroy Houthi drone aimed at Jazan

Shrapnel landed on a residential area in Uhud Al-Masarha governorate as a result of the terrorist Houthi militia’s drone being intercepted, causing damage to some homes, according to the Saudi Civil Defense.

Colonel Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, the media spokesman for the Civil Defense Directorate in the Jazan region, said that the Civil Defense had received “some reports of the fall and scattering of shrapnel on a residential neighborhood in Uhud Al-Masharha governorate as a result of the interception of a booby-trapped drone launched by the terrorist Houthi.”

 As a result of the fall and spreading of shrapnel, some residential dwellings and stores were destroyed. There were no fatalities or deaths as a result of the damages, and the procedures for dealing with such situations were quickly enacted.

Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed a drone fired by the Houthi militia into Jazan, according to the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, emphasizing the need of dealing with sources of danger to safeguard civilian objects from hostile assaults.
