Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, began an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman as part of a Gulf tour leading up to the GCC summit in Riyadh later this month.
Omani Royal Court Diwan welcomed Prince Muhammad’s visit, seeing it as a way to strengthen the bonds of affection that bind the two countries peoples.
A variety of sectors and aspects of shared interest will be covered during this visit, according to the Diwan, to advance the interests of the two fraternal countries, as well as the ambitions and dreams of their peoples for a more successful, developing, and prosperous future.”
“A set of cooperative efforts will be undertaken,” the Royal Court continued, “including investments in the project to construct an industrial zone in the Special Economic Zone in Duqm and energy cooperation.”
The Saudi Crown Prince is set to meet with Gulf leaders to explore ways to strengthen collaboration and coordinate stances among the Cooperation Council’s six members on regional, Arab, and international problems to achieve regional security and stability.
