The leaders reviewed recent developments in the occupied Palestinian territories. Abbas raised concerns about threats to religious sites and proposed a visit to Gaza to address the conflict directly. From the Palestinian side, Executive Committee Secretary of the Palestine Liberation Organization Hussein al-Sheikh attended. General Intelligence Head Majid Faraj was present too. Diplomatic Advisor Dr. Majdi al-Khalidi took part in the discussions. Palestinian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Bassem al-Agha was also involved.
