Saudi Crown Prince Condemns Israeli Aggression on Syria in Call with Al-Sharaa
The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman, reiterated the Kingdom’s support for Syria, condemning the recent Israeli aggressions on the Syrian territories, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
On Thursday, the Saudi Crown Prince received a phone call from the Syrian Transitional President, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, during which they discussed the recent developments in Syria.
The Saudi Crown Prince welcomed measures taken by Al-Sharaa to contain the situation in Syria, expressing Riyadh’s confidence in the Syrian government‘s ability to achieve security and stability in the country.
Moreover, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman commended Al-Sharaa’s efforts to ensure Syria is in the right path that preserves its national unity and territorial integrity.
He also underscored the importance of strengthening solidarity and cohesion among all segments of the Syrian people, and preventing any sedition aimed at threatening Syria’s security and stability.
The Saudi Crown Prince reaffirmed the importance of continuing Syria’s efforts on all levels to achieve progress and prosperity that meet the aspirations of its people.
In the light of this, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reiterated the Kingdom’s steadfast support for Syria, rejecting any action that threatens the country’s civil or social peace.
Furthermore, the Saudi Crown Prince stressed Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of Israel’s aggressions on the Syrian territories and interference in its internal affairs.
He also emphasized the need for the international community to support the Syrian government in countering these challenges and to prevent foreign interference in Damascus internal affairs under any pretext.
Meanwhile, Al-Sharaa extended his gratitude and appreciation to the Saudi Crown Prince for the Kingdom’s supportive position towards Syria and the Crown Prince’s tireless efforts to promote security and stability in Syria and the entire region.
