Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce has ordered the recall of 265 Škoda vehicles, including several models produced between 2012 and 2021, according to the Saudi Gazette.
The recall followed the discovery of a defect in the driver-side airbag inflator, which could pose a serious risk of injury as the inflator could rupture and release sharp metal fragments during a collision.
The ministry urged vehicle owners to check their vehicle identification number through Recalls.sa.
It also urged them to contact the authorized dealer, SAMACO Motors, via the toll‑free number 8001180099 to arrange the necessary repairs at no cost.
The ministry also noted that citizens can follow all recall campaigns for defective goods and products through the Defective Products Recall Center website, Recalls.sa.
