
Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi presided over the fifth edition of the Labor Award, held during the third Global Labor Market Conference. The ceremony celebrated excellence in the private sector and underscored that labor market leadership has become a strategic pillar of national development.
This year’s award attracted participation from more than 216,000 establishments, competing for 37 awards across five specialized tracks.
Al-Rajhi explained that the Labor Award serves as a comprehensive incentive framework aimed at raising the quality of Saudization, strengthening occupational safety and health standards, and promoting investment in skills development and executive leadership.

He also highlighted major achievements in the Saudi labor market under Vision 2030, noting that private sector employment among Saudis has reached 2.5 million, representing a participation rate of 53 percent. He pointed to the significant growth in female workforce participation, which rose to 34.5 percent compared to 23 percent in 2020, as well as the expanded adoption of flexible, freelance, and remote work models that have enhanced market stability and productivity.
In his concluding remarks, the minister honored the winning establishments, praising them as leading examples of competitiveness and talent attraction that reflect the evolving and modern Saudi work environment.
