Saudi-Bahraini talks to develop military relations

The Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, received the Chief of Staff of the Bahraini Defense Force, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi and his accompanying delegation, at King Salman Air Base in the Central Sector.

Upon his arrival, he went to the headquarters of the Presidency of the General Staff, where during the reception a number of views were exchanged on the military side, and a number of matters of common interest were discussed, stressing the strength of Saudi-Bahraini relations and ways to develop them to achieve the common interests between the armed forces of the two countries.

After that, the Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defense Force visited the Joint Forces Command, and was received by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Commander-in-Chief of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant-General Mutlaq bin Salem Al-Azaima, during which he was briefed on the progress of the ongoing operations led by the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen and discuss ways to support and enhance them to ensure the security and stability of the region.

He visited the Royal Saudi Air Force Command, and was received by the Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant-General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz. During the visit, a number of issues of Saudi-Bahraini interest were exchanged.

The reception and visits were attended by senior officers of the armed forces from both sides.
