This is according to the statement during the blessed month of Ramadan for the current year 1443 AH.
During the inauguration, His Excellency watched a live video presentation from the headquarters of the Saudi Dates Factory in Al-Ahsa Governorate, highlighting the processes of packaging and sterilization following the precautionary measures taken to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
His Excellency stressed in a speech during the inauguration that the wise leadership – may God support it – is keen on the good and benefit of Muslims in the east and west of the earth, indicating that this gift expresses the depth of cohesion and sincere love for our Muslim brothers, their sharing in the joy of the blessed month of Ramadan, and is keen to extend a hand of goodness and righteousness to Muslims around the world, even during this pandemic.
He indicated that the gift, with God’s help, will reach ninety-four countries, taking into account the health requirements of the Corona pandemic in force in those countries, and the countries in greatest need were chosen to reach more than one million beneficiaries with God’s help.
