Saudi Arabia and Türkiye have explored ways to enhance their defense cooperation, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
On Tuesday, the Saudi Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman, received his Turkish counterpart, Yaşar Güler, at his office in Jeddah.
During their meeting, both ministers reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to bolster defense and military cooperation.
Furthermore, the Saudi and Turkish Defense Ministers discussed the latest regional and international developments, as well as efforts to promote peace and stability.
The meeting saw the attendance of several senior officials from both sides. These included the Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense, Prince Abdulrahman bin Ayyaf; Chief of the General Staff, General Fayyad Al-Ruwaili; and Saudi Arabia’s military attaché in Ankara, Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Abdulrahman bin Gaith.
Moreover, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Emrullah Islerm and several Turkish officials attended the meeting.
