For 16 years, this index has served as a benchmark for 50 emerging markets, evaluating logistics opportunities, business climates, and digital readiness. The Kingdom outperformed peers in all categories, securing top-five placements alongside China, India, and the UAE.
Agility Vice Chairman Tarek Sultan stated, “Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions are translating into tangible progress. Strategic policies are reshaping the economy, trade networks, and innovation ecosystems.”
Gulf Nations Shine as Trade Hubs
The 2025 report highlights Saudi Arabia’s strides in port connectivity, anti-corruption measures, and high-value manufacturing. Additionally, GCC countries collectively prioritize AI, infrastructure, and energy transition to solidify their roles as global trade centers.
Logistics professionals surveyed (567 total) revealed 62% restructured supply chains to counter inflation, tariffs, and recession risks. Over half plan to shift production from China due to trade tensions and rising costs.
