Saudi Arabia Seeks to Facilitate Citizens’ Visa-Free Entry to Schengen countries
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs discussed Sunday the issue of facilitating Saudi citizens’ admission into the Schengen countries without a visa with European officials and working to complete the technical requirements of this.
This occurred during a technical dialogue meeting with Dmitry Giotakos, the General Directorate of Immigration’s Head of Visa Policy, and his team with Eng. Walid Al-Khuraiji, the Saudi Arabian Deputy Foreign Minister.
The two sides reviewed relations between Saudi Arabia and the European Union and ways to enhance them.
The team held a meeting in Riyadh, chaired by the Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs, Ambassador Tamim Al-Dosari, and Dimitri Giotakos,
In the meeting, they discussed the necessary procedures to facilitate the entry of Saudi citizens to the Schengen countries without obtaining a prior visa.
The two sides affirmed the desire to deepen cooperation and consultation to serve the common interests between Saudi Arabia and the European Union countries.
