Saudi Arabia Secures 3 Medals at 2026 Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad in Russia

Saudi Arabia earned three bronze medals at the 2026 International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad, held in Moscow from April 15 to 23. The competition brought together 161 students from 40 countries.
The medalists were Ali Bawazir from Riyadh, Mujtaba Al-Tarouti from the Eastern Region, and Abdulaziz Badr Al-Juaid from Madinah.

Moreover, Saudi Arabia’s total tally at the Olympiad rises to 29 awards, achieved through its participation under the Mawhiba program. Since 2013, the Kingdom has taken part 14 times, winning three silver medals and 26 bronze medals overall.
