Saudi Arabia has secured the first place among G20 countries, according to official data from the Global SDG Indicators Database and the Safety Index Publication for 2023, GASTAT announced.
The General Authority for Statistics revealed that 92.6% of the Saudi population felt safe at night while walking alone within their residential sites.
GASTAT’s results highlight the Kingdom’s central efforts in ensuring security across all regions and governorates.
Such efforts align with Saudi Arabia’s promising initiatives to elevate safety, stability as well as generous life across several domains, such as economic, food, environmental, health, social, political, intellectual, technological, and cybersecurity safety.
Apart from this, the Kingdom topped the G20 countries in the 2020 Sustainable Development Report as a result for achieving the highest Safety Index.
