Meteorologist Aqil Al Aqil has forecasted moderate weather during Ramadan this year.
Al Aqil told the Saudi-owned television Rotana Khalijia that the spring weather is expected to be cold at the beginning, notably in the Kingdom’s Northern Regions. Meanwhile, the remaining regions may experience moderate weather.
Set to start this year on March 1, Ramadan marks the ninth month of the lunar Islamic calendar.
During this special month, Muslims around the world flock to the Grand Mosque to perform prayers and Umrah.
