The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) announced that temperatures will decrease to a minimum level ranging between 4 and zero degrees Celsius in some regions of Saudi Arabia starting from Saturday.
The northern regions of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders, as well as in Hail and the northern parts of the Madinah region, are most likely to experience these weather conditions.
The condition will continue until Friday, January 3, with a cold air mass covering the regions of the Northern Borders, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and Hail from Sunday until Tuesday. Meanwhile the minimum temperatures will range between zero and minus 4.
In the same context, Hussein Al-Qahtani, spokesman of the NCM, denied on Wednesday some reports noting that the Kingdom’s regions would experience the strongest cold wave since the beginning of winter during the coming week.
