Saudi Arabia reported on Wednesday three COVID-19-related deaths and 3,162 new infections.
Riyadh had 985 new cases, Jeddah had 211, Dammam had 201, Hofuf had 120, and Madinah had 101. Several other towns only saw a few hundred new cases.
After 4,088 more patients recovered from the illness, the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom grew to 678,332 people.
So far, the virus has claimed the lives of 8,962 persons throughout the Kingdom.
To date, the Kingdom has delivered about 58.9 million doses of a coronavirus vaccination.
