Saudi Arabia prepares 25 hospitals to deal with potential Coronavirus cases

The Saudi Ministry of Health announced that it has equipped 25 hospitals to deal with any monitored infection with the Coronavirus, as part of precautionary measures that included the suspension of Umrah trips from abroad.

Ministry of Health spokesman Mohamed Abdel-Ali said: “2,200 medical beds have been allocated to quarantine cases, although Saudi Arabia has not reported any cases of the virus.”

He added, “The commercial activity in the Kingdom has not been affected and is going on as usual.”

Last Thursday, Saudi Arabia announced, the ban on foreigners entering the kingdom for Umrah, and the entry of tourists from 25 countries in which he announced injuries from Corona.
