Saudi Arabia confirms that it is free from the Corona virus

The committee concerned with following up the developments of the new Corona virus in Saudi Arabia, headed by the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, confirmed in its tenth meeting, Saturday that no cases of HIV infection have been registered in the Kingdom until now.

The committee called on everyone to contact 937 for any inquiries, to take information from official sources and not to be misled by the rumors.

On Thursday, a spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that the kingdom is free from any infections with the Corona virus, and it is continuing to make every effort to ensure that the disease does not reach its lands.

The spokesman also stressed the continuation of endeavors and the application of the highest levels of preparedness and precautions, in order to ensure optimal handling of this virus, through a set of preventive steps through the concerted efforts of a group of government agencies in various outlets.

The Ministry of Health noted that Saudi Arabia senses its responsibility towards protecting citizens, pilgrims and visitors to the holy sites.
