Saudi Arabia plans to manufacture drones locally

Saudi Arabia wants to localize more than half of its military spending and transfer it to Saudi enterprises by 2030, according to engineer Abu Khaled.

The Saudi Public Investment Fund owns the “Sami” corporation, which is important (PIF).

A strategic agreement was formed by Advanced Communications and Electronics Systems Firm (ACES) with a global company to transfer technology to produce drone payload systems in Saudi Arabia.

This happened after the Kingdom’s Advanced Communications and Electronics Systems Firm announced the formation of Aerial Solutions, a new company dedicated to unmanned aircraft.

Saudi Arabia wants to localize the military industry and turn it into a significant source of revenue for the country.

It also strives to transfer technology, support local investors, create job opportunities, and maximize the sector’s contribution to the national economy.
