Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has recently held an official ceremony to launch two key programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina: the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ gift to distribute dates and the iftar initiative.
Represented by the religious attaché of the Saudi Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the ministry hosted the ceremony at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Sarajevo, according to Arab News.
During the event, the officials unveiled the distribution of 20,000 tons of dates to benefit more than 40,000 individuals.
In this context, the deputy ambassador noted that King Salman’s gift to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina stands as a testament to Saudi Arabia’s commitment to boosting humanitarian and Islamic efforts.
