Saudi Arabia, France discuss strengthening parliamentary cooperation
Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami, Vice-President of the Saudi Shura Council, met recently with Senator Olivier Kadec, Chairman of the Gulf Friendship Committee in the French Senate on Tuesday to discuss enhancing cooperation and joint bilateral work.
They discussed activating the role of the parliamentary friendship committees between them, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), because the joint parliamentary friendship committees play an important role in expanding horizons for cooperation and strengthening relations to serve the interests of the two countries and peoples.
Many subjects of shared interest were discussed, as well as elements of bilateral cooperation between the two nations in many economic, commercial, and cultural spheres, and strategies to improve them, during the meeting.
