Saudi Arabia extends expatriate residency and visa validity to September 30th

General Directorate of Saudi Passports began extending the validity of residencies of expatriates outside the Kingdom, extending the validity of visit visas, exit, and return visas,

This will be done automatically without fees or financial consideration until September 30, 2021, in the implementation of the directives of King Salman.

This extension, which was issued by the Minister of Finance, comes within the framework of the continuous efforts taken by the Kingdom’s government to deal with the consequences of the global pandemic (Covid-19).

Passport Authority, through SPA (Saudi Press Agency), confirmed that the extension will be done automatically in cooperation with the National Information Center without the need to review the headquarters of the passport departments, as follows:

First: Extending the validity of residency and exit and return visas for residents outside the Kingdom in countries from which entry has been suspended as a result of the outbreak of the Coronavirus, to be until the date of September 30, 2021.

Second: Extending the validity of visitor visas for visitors outside the Kingdom from countries from which entry has been suspended as a result of the outbreak of the Coronavirus, to be until the date of September 30, 2021.
