The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) launched recently the “Learning without Borders” conference in its first edition for the year 2021.
It will be held during the period 10-11 September 2021, under the slogan “Learn how to learn”.
It will organize a series of activities, dialogues, and educational presentations targeting teachers, parents, and content creators.
The conference aims to be a platform to promote the best educational practices and develop teaching and learning methods in Saudi Arabia.
The conference includes many prominent speakers in the field of learning from local and international experts.
Entrepreneur with an interest in educational development, Kiran Bir Sethi, will give the keynote speech titled ‘Human by Chance, Human by Design.
The session also includes a speech by NextLesson head, Member of the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania, and bestselling textbook author A.J. Juliani.
Participants will also have the opportunity to join various dialogues, to enhance their creativity and support them in providing non-traditional classes.
Promote best educational practices
Noura Al-Zamil, Educational Program Officer at Ithra Center, stated that the “Learning Without Borders” conference comes as an opportunity to promote the best educational practices for learners.
The conference is also keen to present a series of workshops and training courses that contribute to building the skills of the participants.
It also works to provide ideas that inspire content creators to communicate in more effective ways with learners, open up new forms of learning, and announce a new environment of creative learning in Saudi Arabia.
