Saudi Arabia condemns Iran’s violation of Iraqi sovereignty
Saudi Arabia condemned on Thursday the Iranian violations of Iraqi sovereignty and renewed its call for restraint by all parties.
The text of a statement published by the Saudi News Agency (SPA) said: “In the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s follow-up of the events in Iraq, especially the Iranian attacks against two Iraqi military bases in which the international coalition forces are present to fight ISIS, as Saudi Arabia condemns these attacks and condemns their violation of Iraqi sovereignty, it calls again to the need for restraint by all parties and to ensure not to escalate to maintain security and stability in Iraq,”
Meanwhile, Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman assured recently that Saudi Arabia always stand with Iraq, noting that it will do everything in its power to spare Iraq the danger of war and conflict.
Prince Khalid bin Salman added through twitter, “Every lover of Iraq today wants him to avoid disturbances and all what negatively affects its security and stability,”
