Saudi Arabia Blasts Israel’s Gaza Occupation Plan, War Crimes

Saudi Arabia on Friday strongly condemned Israel for its war crimes and plans to occupy Gaza City, slamming the ongoing “starvation” and “ethnic cleansing” of Palestinians in the besieged territory. This powerful statement highlights severe concerns regarding the humanitarian crisis and ethnic cleansing in the blockaded territory. The international community must act decisively to address these grave violations.

In a statement posted on X, Riyadh expressed its outrage, stating it “condemns in the strongest and most forceful terms the decision of the Israeli occupation authorities to occupy the Gaza Strip.”

Allegations of Ethnic Cleansing

The statement highlighted that Israel continues to commit crimes of starvation and brutal practices against the Palestinian people. Saudi Arabia emphasized that Israel’s unchecked actions deny Palestinians their deep historical, legal, and emotional ties to the land. These ties are recognized under international law and humanitarian principles.

Moreover, Saudi Arabia warned that the international community’s failure to halt Israeli attacks undermines the foundations of international order and legitimacy. The kingdom stated that this inaction threatens regional and global peace and security. Furthermore, it risks encouraging genocide and forced displacement.

Support for a Two-State Solution

In light of the humanitarian crisis, Saudi Arabia called for urgent international action. The kingdom reiterated its support for a two-state solution based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as the capital of a future Palestinian state. This stance aligns with United Nations resolutions and reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to peace in the region.
