Saudi Arabia asks its citizens to refrain from traveling to Lebanon

The Saudi Foreign Ministry stated on Twitter on Monday urging citizens not to travel to Lebanon.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry urged citizens in Lebanon to take precautions and stay away from gathering places.

“In light of the current situation in Lebanon, we urge all honorable individuals to heed the advice provided by the relevant authorities and refrain from traveling to numerous countries, including Lebanon,” the statement stated.

Seven people were killed, Thursday, in shootings and clashes with machine guns and portable missiles.

This occurred during a demonstration against Tariq Al-Bitar, the investigating judge in the Beirut Port explosion case.

These protests were called by Hezbollah, as it is backed by Iran, and its ally is the Amal Movement.
