Saudi Arabia, Ivory Coast Sign MoU to Establish Business Council
Saudi Arabia and Ivory Coast have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a Saudi-Ivorian Business Council, according to SPA news.
This move aims to boost trade and investment between both countries.
Key Figures Behind Agreement
The Federation of Saudi Chambers’ President, Hassan bin Mujib Al-Huwaizi, and Ahmed Cisse, Chairman of the Ivorian Employers Association, signed the agreement. This significant event coincided with the Saudi-African Summit in Riyadh.
Roles &Goals of Business Council
The council’s main role is organizing commercial activities and promotional campaigns. It aims to enhance trade, investment, and joint economic ventures between KSA and Ivory Coast. The council provides a platform for businesses from both nations to promote their activities and forge partnerships.
Facilitating Economic Cooperation
The council will also spearhead new areas of economic cooperation and facilitate continuous interaction between the business sectors of KSA and Ivory Coast.
The council’s activities include exchanging market opportunities, organizing exhibitions and conferences, and facilitating trade delegations’ visits.
This collaboration marks a significant step in strengthening bilateral economic relationships.
Arab-African Summit
At the gracious invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi-African Summit was held on Friday, in Riyadh.
This historic summit, aimed at fostering relations in various fields, marks a significant turn in Africa’s ties with Saudi Arabia, the heart of the Islamic world.
African leaders expressed satisfaction with the fruitful dialogue and consensus on regional and international issues.
They renewed commitment to enhancing cooperation based on strategic partnership, shared interests, and historical, geographical, and cultural ties.
