Saudi Ambassador to Canada Participates in Arab Ambassadors Meeting

The Saudi Ambassador to Canada Amal bint Yahya Al-Muallami participated in the Council of Arab Ambassadors’ regular meeting in Canada, reported Saudi Press Agency.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in the Arab countries, particularly focusing on the ongoing Israeli assaults on Gaza Strip and the city of Rafah. The Saudi Ambassador to Canada and other participants also reviewed ways to enhance and develop cooperation between the Council’s countries and Canada.

Areas of Cooperation

In a significant move to bolster educational cooperation and investment, Saudi Education Minister Yousef Al-Benyan embarked on a pivotal visit to Canada, meeting with a host of Canadian education leaders and investors including the president of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.

This visit marks a critical step in enhancing the educational relationship between Saudi Arabia and Canada. Moreover, it underlines the importance both countries place on education and innovation.

He also engaged with prominent Canadian education leaders. This included discussions with university presidents, education policymakers, and leading educators.
