Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) has signed several deals and agreements with prestigious entities during the Global Logistics Forum, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Held from October 12 to 14, the forum offers a valuable platform for SAR to showcase its cutting-edge services and the remarkable progress of Saudi railways.
Promising Deals

SAR has signed two contracts with Bahri Logistics to elevate SAR’s logistics operations.
The first contract aims to increase the quantities of containers transported on the eastern line, while the second one allows Bahri to operate and develop two logistics stations in Al-Kharj and Haradh.
Moreover, SAR signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with DHL and Agility Global.

With an exceptional goal to promote Saudi national capabilities, SAR signed a MoU with the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services.
This deal aligns with the ambitious objectives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Foreign Scholarships “Promising Path”.
SAR also introduced a comprehensive overview of its promising train, one of the longest freight trains and one of the fastest electric trains in the world.
Interestingly, it has operated the longest railway lines in the world that use the European traffic management system “ETCS-L2”.
These deals stand as a testament to SAR’s commitment to providing safe and sustainable transportation solutions.
Looking ahead, these partnerships will accelerate SAR’s journey to position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
