Riyadh’s Artistic Revolution: Tuwaiq Sculpture 2024 Unveils Global Talents
The Riyadh Art program proudly announced the upcoming fifth edition of the Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium. It will commence on January 14, 2024. This prestigious event, part of the larger Riyadh Art initiative, has become a beacon of artistic excellence and cultural dialogue in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The symposium will run until February 8, 2024. It would showcase an array of dynamic sculptures under the evocative theme ‘Dimensions of Movement,’ symbolizing the continuous development and boundary-pushing progress in Riyadh.

In this fifth iteration of the Tuwaiq Sculpture, an impressive cohort of 30 artists from around the globe will converge in Riyadh. These artists are hailing from 20 different countries. They came from a pool of over 650 applicants representing 80 countries. Accordingly, this diverse group will engage in the creation of public sculptures that reflect the spirit of the Kingdom while also bringing an international flavor to the Saudi art scene. The selection process was overseen by an independent committee of experts in art and sculpture, ensuring a high caliber of participants and artworks.
