King Fahd Cultural Center Holds Its Annual Meeting in Argentina

The Supreme Council of Trustees of the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center held today its annual meeting in Argentina, Buenos Aires.

Sheikh Awad bin Sabti Al-Anzi, the Deputy Minister for Islamic Affairs,  chaired the annual meeting for the 2022-2023.

Attendees included: Naif Al-Fayim, the Acting Director and Secretary-General of the Council, Ali Abu Hakmah, the Deputy Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and several council members.

Discussion of Budget Report and Center’s Expenditures

During the meeting, participants discussed the Centre’s budget and expenditure report for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023

There was also a review of the administrative activities of the council members and the faculty of the Center.

Review of Cultural Mission and Educational Projects

The meeting included discussions on proposals to enhance the cultural mission of the Center and the activities of King Fahd School – may God have mercy on him.

The educational and cultural projects of the Center and the financial statements for the current year, as well as future plans, were also reviewed.

Emphasis on the Support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques

Al-Anzi highlighted the continuous support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince – may God protect them – for everything that serves Islam and Muslims.

He emphasized the importance of spreading the moderate teachings of Islam worldwide.

He also  affirmed the significant role of the King Fahd Islamic Cultural Center in Argentina.

The meeting focused on promoting the call for God, upholding the values of moderation and balance as well as on teaching the Holy Koran, the Prophet’s Sunnah and the Arabic language.
