The Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and the Social Development Bank (SDB) have on Saturday signed a cooperation agreement to support and empower entrepreneurs and productive families during Riyadh Season 2024, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The agreement, signed by GEA’s CEO, Faisal Bafarat, and SDB’s CEO, Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Humaidi, in the presence of GEA’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Adviser Turki Al Al-Sheikh, aims to organize the participation of productive families and entrepreneurs in Riyadh Season.
To this end, the agreement allocates sales outlets in key locations, such as Boulevard World, to give productive families and entrepreneurs the opportunity to display and promote their products on a large scale.
Furthermore, the agreement focuses on empowering entrepreneurs and productive families through providing logistics and organizational support. It also aims to showcase the Saudi products and the contributions of productive families and entrepreneurs.
The agreement aligns with the joint efforts of government entities to support the local economy and achieve the objectives of Vision 2030 by promoting local content, supporting the growth and sustainability of entertainment sector. This, in turn, contributes to developing the national economy.
Riyadh Season 2024 has kicked off on October 12, offering 14 entertainment zones, 11 global championships, 10 exhibitions, and amazing festivals, events and international experiences.
This fifth edition of the much-awaited event promises to be the largest and most stunning entertainment experience. It includes a diverse range of amazing zones, such as Boulevard City, Boulevard World, Harry Potter-themed Experience. In addition, it features a series of theatrical performances, music concerts and sports activities.
