QDB Signs MOU with Raed Ventures

Qatar Development Bank (QDB) has signed two memoranda of understanding (MoU) with Global Ventures Fund and the Saudi investment company, Raed Ventures, reported Asharqb KSA. The two memoranda between QDB, Global Ventures and aim to support new investment opportunities and Raed Ventures open cooperative horizons for investors and the private sector in Qatar.

Saudis Visiting Qatar

Qatar Tourism” revealed that the country welcomed nearly four million visitors, surpassing the annual number of visitors over the past five years. Saudi nationals topped the list of visitors to Qatar, accounting for 25.3% of the total number of international visitors, nearly one million visitors, followed by India, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Kuwait.

Flights Between KSA, Qatar

Saudi Arabia and Qatar launched direct flights between AlUla and Doha. This initiative has garnered immense support from both nations, with the respective culture ministers Prince Badr bin Farhan and his Qatari counterpart Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Thani.

Conversely, the Cultural ministers of Saudi Arabia and Qatar expressed their enthusiasm for this new air route as a means to strengthen cultural exchange. Direct flights will also enable people to experience the cultural diversity of AlUla and Doha.

This leads to a deeper appreciation of their shared heritage and traditions. Moreover, apart from cultural benefits, AlUla-Doha direct flights expect to have a positive impact on the tourism sector of both regions. Increased connectivity will also encourage tourism and attract more visitors to the historical sites of AlUla.
